Join us in celebrating National Volunteer Week

This week celebrates volunteers from all over but for A Ride for Hope it means so much more. Over the last 6 years, A Ride for Hope has been able to provide financial assistance for almost 300 patients in our communities. A Ride for Hope could not have made this possible without the help of our wonderful volunteers who not only gave us their time, their gift of compassion but mostly the love they have shown me and this organization and their belief in our mission to provide financial help to cancer patients. Each volunteer that I have met through this journey has come to volunteer for different reasons and causes, each having a story of strength and perseverance.

I have great admiration for our volunteers and our organization wouldn’t be as successful as we have been these past 6 years without their support and I personally thank each and every one of you for your time, your support, love, and for believing in us and our mission to serve cancer patients in our communities.

If anything this past year has shown us, is that time with loved ones is precious, something that we shouldn’t take for granted, that we all need to come together and support each other. Volunteers are the roots of what support is, they are essential to the success of any organization. I am blessed for all your continued participation in A Ride for Hope.”
